Portable air dryers
An air dryer cools and dries compressor air before that air reaches the blaster. It is not a blasting machine, and it is not part of every rental.
When you need one
You need an air dryer when you are blasting from a mobile air compressor. A diesel compressor must use one. Diesel compressors discharge hot, wet air, and that air can cause trouble in a dry ice blaster. The dryer sits in the air line, cools the air, and knocks out moisture before the blaster.
We rent 350 and 700 models. The 700 moves more air, including enough for two dry ice blasters. The photo is the Command Air 350.
What the rental includes
The cost of renting an air dryer includes the extra 25 ft air hose needed to hook the dryer up from your compressor. That hose connects the compressor to the air dryer. It is included in the dryer rental, not billed as a separate extra air hose.
