Rental FAQs in the Learning Center

What equipment can I rent?

The rental lineup is the Cold Jet Aero 40, Aero 80, PLT 60, and PCS 60, plus an air dryer and accessories such as nozzles and hoses. Tell us about the job if you want help choosing.

What comes with a rental?

A standard rental is one machine, a 20 ft blast hose, a 25 ft air hose, a gun, and a nozzle. Dry ice is quoted with the rental and is not one of those five pieces. A 500 lb tote is available. Extra air hose lengths of 25 ft, 50 ft, and 100 ft are available to rent. Extension blast hoses are available to rent. You can also ask for a different nozzle. An air dryer is not part of every rental.

How do I ask for a quote?

Call 614-754-7192 or use the quote form. When email delivery is configured, the form sends the request to Dry Ice Gear. Until then, the form stays on the page and tells you the inquiry was not sent.

Can you help me choose a machine?

Yes. Share the surface, what you need to remove, the air you have available, and the dates. We will help match a machine and accessories to that application.

How long can I rent?

Tell us the start date and how long you expect to need the equipment. This draft does not publish a rate sheet or a minimum rental period.

How do I choose a nozzle?

You do not need to know the codes. Tell us the surface and what compressor you have. A 3 series nozzle fits a compressor without a lot of air. A 5 series fits one with plenty of air. A straight end aims in a line, a MERN end slants front to back, and a variable end is the lighter touch. Use a wider nozzle when what you are blasting comes off really quickly, and a smaller end when you need more power. A standard rental includes one nozzle.

Which nozzle do you need?

What is the air dryer?

It prepares compressed air by cooling it and removing moisture before the air reaches the blaster. If you are using a diesel air compressor, you must use an air dryer. We rent 350 and 700 models. The photo on the site is the Command Air 350. An air dryer is not part of every rental.

Do you sell equipment on this site?

This site is for rentals. It does not list machines for sale, prices, or stock. Call if you have a question about equipment.

Are the specifications your rental machines’ exact setup?

The numbers shown are published figures for that model. They do not describe the nozzle, hose length, or condition of a particular rental unit. If a figure is missing, we have not confirmed it. Ask before you rely on it.
