The job
Tell us what you are cleaning, what you need to remove, and whether the surface is robust or easily marked. Dates and how long you expect to keep the equipment help us match a machine and the accessories. If you are not sure, say so. We would rather confirm a requirement than guess.
Compressed air
Every blaster on this site needs a compressor. The published air figures are not the same from model to model, and some are still unconfirmed.
- The Aero 80FP, PLT 60, and PCS 60 have published nozzle-air ranges. The Aero 40FP figure is not listed until we confirm one number.
- The PCS 60 is published for 12–100 CFM at 80 psi and air supply of 40–145 psi. The PLT 60 is published for 50–165 CFM at 80 psi and air supply of 40–250 psi.
- If you know the compressor’s CFM and PSI, or only the compressor model, include that. If you do not know, say that too.
Hot or wet compressor air is a reason to ask about the air dryer. It is not part of every rental. The photo on that page is the Command Air 350. The 700 moves more air.
Dry ice and power
The Aero 40, Aero 80, and PLT 60 are described as 3 mm pellet machines. The PCS 60 starts with 3 mm pellets and cuts them into smaller particles. The Aero2 machines publish a 110/230 V AC, 4.3 A supply. Confirm power for an Aero 40 or Aero 80 rental unit when you inquire.
What comes with the rental
A standard rental includes five pieces:
- One blasting machine.
- A 20 ft blast hose. Extension hoses are available to rent.
- A 25 ft air hose. Extra lengths of 25 ft, 50 ft, and 100 ft are available to rent.
- One nozzle. A different nozzle is optional. Read a nozzle code.
- One applicator gun.
The comparison guide lines up the four blasting machines. Help me choose carries your application and air answers into the quote. Or request a rental quote directly.
